China’s Green train

I am traveling from Ningbo to Nanchang by a slow train, the slowest speed train in China. We call it green train.

From Ningbo to Nanchang, it shall take an overnight trip, from 13:55 to 5:30am the next day, while the fast bullet train only takes about 3.5 hours.

The green color of the train looks similar to the post box. It has soft, hard beds, and hard seats choices.

The soft beds’ carriage looks alike this.

This kind of slow train is not easy to find out in China nowadays. A fast bullet train ticket costs 320 rmb for a seat for this trip while this slowest bed option costs 215rmb.

Food box would be delivered to the carriage for 20rmb each. There is a restaurant carriage of number 9 as well.

I brought with me two new magazines to take the time away, also watch the winter fields, veggie patches. I can have a nap, have some fruits and communicate with people.

Winter filed views have reeds next the river bank, yellowish in decay; trees fluffy and tangly. It reminds you of good sprouts in spring and lush leaves in summer. I can not deny the beauty of this originality.

Now I shall enjoy my dinner time…

By the way, I would like to mention a new statue set up in India, double the height of Freedom statue was made from Nanchang.

I am going to Nanchang to check out the ancient pavilion Teng Wang Pavilion.
